Thankfully, the game gives you the tools needed to encourage that creativity. Players are supposed to be as creative as humanly possible in this game. Creative solid gameplay with some annoyances ![]() It's tough to argue that the game's audio or visual is anything short of disappointing. The audio is relatively rudimentary, featuring basic background music and sound effects. Sprites and figures are blocky and lack textures. Indeed, by and large, it looks like a Minecraft rip-off. TerraTech is not a game built with stellar graphics. In Gauntlet, you create a vehicle, but then race it against the computer.įurthermore, the game isn't completely focused on construction: There are bad guys to kill and items to purchase, forcing you to consider combat and economic management as you play. In Creative, you build until your heart's content. The other two modes - Creative and Gauntlet - allow all of the game's various constructions tools available to you right away. The campaign serves as a perfect way of introducing new players to the game. In Campaign mode, you open with a limited set of tools, which slowly expand to you as you find other pieces of the technology needed to construct the vehicles. There are three different styles of gameplay in this game. ![]() Much of the focus of this game is on construction, but this time, you're building vehicles. Like Minecraft, TerraTech is an open world, sandbox-style game. Instead of constructing new worlds or buildings, you construct vehicles.
